On the 25th and 26th September 2006, Macau Badminton Association co-organized with the Venetian Macau Ltd. to host the 'Sands Staff Badminton Championahip", in which 27 people participated in the Men's Singles, 13 people participated in the Women's Singles, and 16 pairs of people participated in the Mixed Doubles.
