From 2nd to 4th August, Nonu Santos from Portugal was in transit in Macau and had joined the Macau Badminton Team in their daily trainings. Nonu was on his way to Thailand to compete in the World University Games 2007. He said the training here exposed him with more different playing style of various players and would prepare him for the Games. Macau’s chief coach, Zhao Kejian said that it is good to have Nonu with the team, even for a short while, as it is very beneficial for the team to have joint training with a foreign player.
