The Badminton Federation of Macau (BFM) last night (18th August) celebrated their annually held anniversary dinner gala. This year’s event was special as it is also the 25th anniversary since its establishment in 1982. The dinner was attended by many VIPs such as Mr. Vong Iao Lek, the president of the Macau Sport Development Board, Mr. Kong Tat Choi, President of BFM, Mr. Hui Chong Cheang, the representative from Guangzhou Sports University and Miss Wong Keng Chow from the Macau Education Board.

The dinner, which was held at the Ritz Hotel, includes the introduction of the newly elected Committee Members for the term 2007-2009, presentation of certificates to the newly of honourary presidents for the federation, best performance players and qualified umpires.

The dinner was filled with singing performances, lucky draw contest and bingo. The atmosphere was filled with a friendly environment all the attendees. It was a very conducive and healthy condition for various players, umpires and clubs to come together and interact amongst. Mr. Kong toasted all the attendee wishing them good health.
